I have two words that remains always in my mind when I reflect about myself and the path I took to be who I am today.
No 1. “I’m still a dreamer” – Wheein
It is a lyric from a song called water color by my favourite Korean singer, Wheein. It has a message of finding self-confidence and self-love. Read More>>

Having a son will always be the driving force of my hard work. I think having children really amplifies someone’s work ethic! Even in times of burn out, or when I don’t necessarily “feel” like pushing forward, I always think to myself, “Your son is watching you!” Read More>>

My mission is to empower women to feel confident and step into the highest version of themselves. I believe beauty is more than skin-deep, it’s a catalyst for inner power and boldness in every area of life. Through modeling, business, and storytelling, I aim to use my voice to speak up for the ones who aren’t always heard; especially women, children, and the environment. Read More>>

I’ve been cooking for as long as I can remember—starting in the kitchen with my mom. Over the years, I worked in all kinds of food settings: restaurants, markets, college dining halls, food trucks, coffee shops, even a golf course. It was a great way to build experience and make connections, but I was always working under someone else’s direction. If I had an idea or thought something could be done differently, it had to go through the Chef or corporate. Read More>>

I believe the most determining factor for success is having a clear mind and being sure of what you want and working toward it with discipline and consistency. Every step, even a small one, counts, and little by little, it adds up, bringing you closer to a good result. You may not notice the progress at first, and it may seem like you’re going slowly, but exponentially, if you’re consistent, each step and each improvement is like a brick that builds a great skyscraper. The value that matters most to me is my faith. My relationship with God shapes who I am, how I see others, and how I show up in the world. Whether I’m advocating for a cause or serving in the church, I lead with a servant’s heart. I strive to reflect God’s love in all I do, walking with purpose and intention. My faith isn’t just what I believe—it’s the foundation of why I serve. Read More>>

The principle that matters most to me is equity. It’s more than a buzzword! It’s the lens through which I see the world, the reason I stay up late reading legal cases, and the fuel behind my research on economic justice. Read More>>

“Pick a lane” is a piece of advice I’ve never fully bought into. Over time, I’ve realized that while focus matters, being curious and open to different areas has brought me opportunities and insights that sticking to one lane likely wouldn’t have. Read More>>
I don’t fully agree with is the idea that you have to find your ONE passion and stick with it. Niche down?! Absolutely Not! People are (or should be) multi- dimensional. I believe that more you allow yourself to explore, the more you’re able to learn about yourself, the more confident you become in your decision making and (in the long run) the more successful you become at your business. It was incredibly difficult to prioritize my business while setting boundaries with friends and family, especially knowing that the shift in how much time I could spend with them might create tension or be misunderstood as not wanting to make time for them. As a entrepreneur, I understand the time and energy I invest directly impacts its growth and success. Read More>>

I’m from Davenport, Iowa. But my family were in the military so we ended staying in Columbus, Georgia. That’s where I remember we weren’t the richest materialistic wise, but my mom who was a single mother by the way, made sure we had the best. She went above the call of duty for me and my little sister. Seeing my mom do that throughout our life growing up, taught me how to be persistent, humble and to always stay focused on what matters most, and let GOD handle everything else. Read More>>

I’m from Kansas City, KS (KCK) born and raised! There’s most definitely a theme as it relates to who I am, and where I am today – community. A lot of it started at home for me. I grew up on Quindaro blvd which wasn’t the safest neighborhood growing up at the time. And on top of living were you hear gunshots every nigh that would almost serve as white noise to put you to sleep, I was such an odd, goofy and weird kid growing up. Read More>>
