We had the good fortune of connecting with Lo- and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lo-, how does your business help the community?
We guide people into living more blissful, liberated, and empowered lives.

Blvck Lotus Wellness is more than a brand—it’s a movement of remembrance, reclamation, and radical healing. We exist to reconnect Black and Brown communities to ancestral wisdom, holistic health, and the power of plant medicine. Whether through sacred retreats, womb wellness programs, or our carefully crafted herbal offerings, we create spaces for collective liberation and deep restoration.

Our work supports mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being—especially for those navigating generational trauma and systemic disconnection. We prioritize BIPOC voices, honor diasporic identities, and champion accessible, culturally-rooted healing. From local pop-ups and workshops to global retreats and digital offerings, we help people return to themselves—and by extension, to community, to purpose, and to power.

What should our readers know about your business?
Getting here wasn’t easy. I’ve had to build this business from the ground up while navigating limited resources, shifting laws around plant medicine, and the challenge of doing culturally specific work in a wellness industry that often lacks diversity. What’s helped me most has been community, consistency, and staying aligned with my purpose.

I’m proud of how many people we’ve been able to support, literally thousands at this point—from first-time herbal users to those seeking deeper spiritual healing. Right now, I’m especially excited about our growing presence in East & West Africa and the upcoming group trips we’re hosting to help people reconnect with the continent in a more intentional, healing-centered way.

At the core, Blvck Lotus Wellness is about healing, education, and empowerment. We’re here to support people in living healthier, more magical lives—guided by tradition, community, and care.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
