Meet Cynthia Jones | Women’s Fitness & Wellness Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cynthia Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cynthia, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting my business came from realizing that fitness was changing more than just my body—it was changing my mindset, confidence, and overall quality of life. Over time, I noticed that a lot of women, especially women balancing motherhood, careers, and everyday responsibilities, needed more than workouts. They needed support, community, and a space to reconnect with themselves.
That’s how RARE was created. RARE stands for Resilient, Ambitious, Radiant, and Empowered. My goal was to build a brand that helps women feel strong physically while also encouraging healing, growth, confidence, and sustainable wellness. I wanted to create something that impacts women beyond the gym.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
’m the founder of RARE, a women’s fitness and wellness brand built on the belief that transformation goes deeper than physical results. RARE stands for Resilient, Ambitious, Radiant, and Empowered, and those values shape everything I believe in and create. What sets my business apart is that I don’t view fitness as punishment or a quick fix. I see it as a foundation / gateway for confidence, healing, discipline, and creating a life that feels good from the inside out. My goal is to help women, especially women balancing careers, motherhood, and everyday responsibilities—build sustainable habits and reconnect with themselves. Building this business has not been easy. Like many entrepreneurs, I’ve had seasons of self-doubt, trying new things, learning marketing, balancing family, rebuilding, and staying consistent even when growth felt slow. One of my biggest lessons has been understanding that success isn’t built overnight, it’s built through showing up repeatedly, adjusting, and trusting the process. What I’m most proud of is creating something that reflects my values and allows me to impact women beyond workouts. RARE is evolving into more than fitness, it’s becoming a space centered around wellness, healing, community, confidence, and transformation. If there’s one thing I want people to know about me and my brand, it’s this: I’m building something that reminds women they are capable of becoming the strongest, healthiest, and most empowered version of themselves-on their own terms.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came to visit for a week, I’d probably show them a mix of the city and experiences depending on their personality and interests. We’d definitely spend time on the BeltLine and at Piedmont Park because they’re great places to walk, people watch. I’d also take them to the High Museum of Art because I enjoy creative and inspiring spaces.
For entertainment, we’d check out a few lounges, rooftop spots, and brunch places because Atlanta does those really well. Depending on which friend it is , I’d also love to do something wellness-related like a yoga class and spend a day at Stone Mountain for the views, fresh air, and a little movement.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shout out my children, my clients, and the women who support my brand. They’ve all shaped my journey and reminded me that what I’m building is bigger than fitness—it’s about helping women feel strong, confident, and empowered. I’m also grateful for the lessons that came through challenges and growth because they helped create the vision behind RARE.”
