Meet Talisha McCoy | Misunderstood singer-songwriter/promoter/host

We had the good fortune of connecting with Talisha McCoy and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Talisha, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
I’m from a small town out in the country where there is little to no platform for minority independent artist. When they won’t give you a stage you have to create one. I offer not just promotions, radio interviews , and videography , so that artist are able to receive paid gigs, professional work and content to promote their music.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a singer songwriter, been on this course for well over 30yrs . I’ve always put others first , The last 3 yrs I decided to pour into others and sacrifice what I could be doing for me for someone else. I pour into my people by choice. It wasn’t always easy financially speaking, but I kept going, learning the ins/outs took loss that I never really had to lose . Deep in my heart I knew it’d come back 10 fold ,and even if it didn’t I did what I love to do, and i helped someone along the way, but I believed in myself, my team, and my purpose. I started out doing this alone, I overcame a lot of obstacles by praying for not just a team but a team that would be built just right for what I was trying to accomplish. Along the way I learned to put agreements in black and white, build with goals, elevation and purpose in mind. I learned that I would win some and I’d lose some , but I’d live to fight another day. If the world needs to know anything they need to know. My work speaks for itself. Professional artist with pure energy and good vibrations and you can genuinely feel the shift in the room. My Epic encounters speak volumes
