Meet Olamikunle Onikosi | Founder of Litwork, Co-Founder of Olang Global

We had the good fortune of connecting with Olamikunle Onikosi and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Olamikunle, how does your business help the community?
Honestly, impact isn’t something we bolt on — it’s baked into why we started. At OLANG Global, we’re building a portfolio of AI-powered platforms specifically designed for communities that traditional tech often overlooks.
Our flagship product, Litwork, is a community commerce platform built around Black-owned businesses. We’ve watched too many incredible local businesses stay invisible — not because they aren’t great, but because they don’t have the tools or visibility that bigger brands take for granted. Litwork exists to fix that.
Then there’s ROAM, our travel app built specifically for Black travelers — giving them culturally relevant destination guides, safety insights, and community-backed recommendations. Travel should feel like freedom for everyone.
At the end of the day, we believe access to great technology shouldn’t depend on the size of your budget or the zip code you’re in. Every product we build is our answer to that problem.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m the Co-Founder and CTO of OLANG Global Inc., a technology holding company based in Atlanta. We build AI-powered SaaS platforms — but not for the usual suspects. Our entire portfolio is designed around small businesses, professional services, local governments, and underserved communities.
What sets us apart is that we’re not just building products — we’re building infrastructure for people who’ve historically been locked out of it. Litwork helps Black-owned businesses get discovered, booked, and supported. ROAM gives Black travelers a platform built with their experience at the center. We’ve even partnered with local municipalities like the City of Lithonia to modernize how cities serve their residents through technology.
Was it easy getting here? Absolutely not. Building multiple products simultaneously with a lean founding team means you’re wearing every hat — product manager, developer, marketer, salesperson — often in the same afternoon. There were moments of real doubt. But I kept coming back to the “why,” and the why was always bigger than the hard days.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that speed matters less than direction. Moving fast in the wrong direction just gets you lost faster. We’ve slowed down, made intentional pivots, and come out sharper every time.
What I want the world to know is this: world-class technology doesn’t have to be built for the wealthy or the already-connected. Atlanta is proof that innovation thrives everywhere — and OLANG Global is our bet on that.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I grew up in Riverdale, but i’ve lived on the eastside for 7 years. One of my favorite hidden gems is Angie’s Place in Stone Mountain, great food, affordable and the owner is pretty dope as well. But if you’re looking for a date night spot, I love Little Alley Steak for a nice vibe. CM Chicken for great late night Korean Food.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My wife. Countless nights she’s been by my side helping me grow my business, pushing and helping me strive to the next level. My ideas are always bounced off her and she never rushes me or makes me feel incompetent. I work as hard as ii do because i want to make sure i give her the world and then some.
My Uncle Gabriel and Aunty Chioma, supporting me in ways that i never imagined. I always tell them everyone should have them in their life, they would be so much better. These are 2 of the best people i have ever met. They lead with love not judgement, and they’ve always pushed me to be a better man.
My Co-Founders Roderick and Shantanik Langston, if there is any group of people i could have chose to start a business with i couldn’t have chosen any better 2 people in the world. We grow together, We trust each other to grow our vision and I genuinely believe what we are working on will change the world.
