Meet Alaceia Prince | Author & Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Alaceia Prince and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alaceia, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I believe that risks are the foundation of faith. When deciding to become a business owner and you weigh the pros and cons you’re evaluating the risks.. It’s always the risk of failure, but there is no failure in willpower only benefits and lessons and even in lessons there is benefit. As a mom of 6 Starting my own business had the appearance of being risky. Leaving a corporation which provided stability for me for years was definitely what some would consider risky but the idea of complacency for me was enough for me to take the risk activate my faith and begin the journey of creating generational wealth.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I started a cleaning service in 2015. It got off to a good start then my husband and I began to expand our family. I had very complicated pregnancies so I took a break from full time operation to taking very minimal clients. After my 6th child was born I got back into the workforce still servicing minimal clients. I had stability in the workplace but no fulfillment and I knew it was because I put my vision and dreams aside. In 2021 I saw the need for a reliable cleaning services amid the pandemic, and I knew it was time to rebrand and expand. It took a lot of self encouragement to transition back to full time entrepreneurship but I believe to whom much is given much is required. I love being able to offer cleaning services because I know firsthand how a clean space can make a big difference in your mood but more importantly your health. It was also important to include my family. My husband and I are a team we tackle most jobs together, and where there’s family there is love and a sense of belonging and we extend that to our clients we treat their homes, offices, business with the same love and attention we do our own and that’s our niche .it’s more than just job we consider it a service to service others us the reward is in giving.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My husband and My 6 children are the inspiration behind my drive. They give me a sense of purpose and love me unconditionally. Being an entrepreneur and author are titles of my gifts , but being a mother and wife is my lifelong assignment, thankfully they give me the love support and reassurance that I need to not only Ace my assignment but express who I am through my gifts.
