We had the good fortune of connecting with Wendy Gajadharsingh and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Wendy, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor for me is to be real. I like to highlight businesses I love. Whether that’s a restaurant, hotel, bar, activity or product. Running a business is hard work so I like to let others know when I see one being ran successfully. When their products and staff are phenomenal, that deserves recognition.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I started The Bubbly Talk just for fun. I worked as an Events Manager in the restaurant business for years but then got out of it because of the grueling hours. I now work in IT but I missed the restaurant business so I thought I’d start a blog and Instagram account. I wanted to focus on my favorite places to eat, drink and have fun. It took awhile but it’s taken off and now I’m so busy with it! Being a blogger is very time consuming but I love that it’s so much fun. I am very grateful for some fantastic opportunities that have come my way these past couple of years.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
This may not surprise you but when my best friend is visiting, we have to start the day with some bubbly!  We love brunch and a place like Bread & Butterfly in Inman Park is a cute way to start a fun day, including mimosas.  It is also right by the Beltline so we will hop on some scooters and check out the sites.  Ponce City Market is a must stop because it has great shopping, restaurants, and a rooftop with a serious view.  Speaking of rooftops, another favorite is at Hotel Clermont.  We like our sweets so for an afternoon pick-up, there is a good chance you will find us with a doughnut from Doughnut Dollies and a coffee.  When the evening rolls in, pre-dinner cocktails are on order and Baffi is doing some great ones.  We will then head over to the Westside for dinner – Forza Storico is always wonderful along with Cooks & Soldiers.  We will also explore around Atlanta, like an overnight trip to Dahlonega, where we hit some of the wineries like Wolf Mountain, Kaya, and Monteluce. It’s thr perfect way to end the weekend and you get to wind down on the scenic drive home.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I definitely want to shoutout my husband for being so supportive of my blogging. I do this in addition to my full time job so I stay pretty busy. My husband Adam is always there to lend a hand or take a photo. I couldn’t do this without him.
