We had the good fortune of connecting with Jenna Morton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jenna, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process started with seeing other book events taking off, and as an avid reader, I thought I could create one and see what happens. I created A Night Under the Stars Fae Ball in January of 2026 and it sold out. It was such an amazing night meeting with other readers and the authors and bookish vendors that attended! It made all of the hard work absolutely worth it!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Mystic Meadows Events is my business.
Ive gotten to where I am today because of the support of my husband and friends. It hasnt been easy, but its been worth it! Ive learned a lot, and im still learning hownto navigate it! Getting to meet authors and bookish vendors in this community has also helped. They’re why book events can happen!

Honestly, Sarah J. Maas. I started reading the ACOTAR series when I was in the depths of post-partum and that series helped pull me out of my depression and ive been reading ever since!
