Meet Shasmine Thomas | Allstar Cheerleading Coach & Gym Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Shasmine Thomas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shasmine, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
My business was created out of a need in my community. I began working individually with girls training them to be capable to have successful cheer tryouts and to perform well enough to make the school teams. God blessed that beginning to grow into my own competitive cheer company that has recently expanded to 3 teams with over 60 athletes!

What should our readers know about your business?
Cheer Leads Elite is an Allstar Cheer Program that places emphasis on training athletes to excel in the sport of cheerleading. Our goal is to produce college ready athletes and to provide them with the opportunity to earn scholarship offers to perform at the next level. I am most excited about our future. We have recently expanded to 3 teams and I am honored and elated to get to work with all of our new and existing talent. Our gym was founded in the midst of the COVID19 pandemic and I believe that overcoming that has prepared us for any challenge that may present itself before us. From the beginning to now our girls have taught me so much, most importantly, how to be a better coach and mentor to them. While our goal is to produce college ready athletes, I want the world to know that we take much pride in producing the world’s next generation of strong, capable, intelligent women within our communities.
