We had the good fortune of connecting with Marsha Rowe and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marsha, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I’m from a small town in Florida, and I’m the oldest of 5 siblings, raised by 2 loving parents. Being the oldest came with a lot of responsibility, so this alone prepared me for who I am today, but not only that, my parents always made sure that we knew we could be anything we put our minds to! 

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
From a young age I had a passion for fashion, I knew then, that I never wanted to look like anyone else, but I never thought about jewelry design. I believe this was the beginning of the seed being planted for my business, and I didn’t even realize it. At Heavenly Beads & More we offer one-of-a-kind treasures in both jewelry and home decor’.  Our designs reflect the beauty of nature, the free flow of art, the modern vintage era, & out of the box architectural style. I believe what truly sets me apart from others is that everything I’ve learned about jewelry design, has truly been inspired by God. It gives me great joy knowing that I’m working in my purpose, and that each design I make, whether jewelry or home decor, will be a blessing to their owner. I’m so honored that I get to be a blessing to others, 10% of all profits, and 20% of all our events, is donated to charity.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Augusta has a quite a few hidden jewels, and when family comes I enjoy showing them off. I have a few favorite coffee spots in downtown, Metro Coffee House, and Ubora. Inner Bean Cafe, and Bodega Ultima both have great coffee as well, but you can also grab a quick bite to eat. My favorite place to get chocolate is La Bonbonniere, after eating those, you need a salad :), so The Southern Salad is the place to go. Last but certainly not least is my favorite places to eat vegan any time of day, Humanitree House, The SolFood Kitchen, and Nutritious Alternatives!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My Mom & Dad definitely deserve recognition, they instilled deep christian values in me as a child, that I still live by and hold dear to today! Those values of honor, integrity, and charity have become foundations of my business, and I owe all the credit to them for raising me in this way! I Love Them Both Dearly!
