We had the good fortune of connecting with Lashonta Fullwood and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lashonta, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
When I think about risks, I only focus on the positive outcomes. If you focus on what could go wrong you hinder yourself from advancing and growing. Two years ago, I took the biggest risk of my life and that was starting my business. I took all of my savings and bought everything that I thought I might possibly need, two years later I’m still standing and growing. Taking risks in my life have helped me grow mentally, emotionally, and financially. Taking risks in my business has allowed me to engage and service people all over the world. I don’t regret any risk I have taken, it was either a lesson or a blessing!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from others is that my work is created for long lasting memories. I create things that the customer will always look back at and smile and remember the excitement they had when they first got it. Getting where I am today was not easy at all. I had to re-train my self in the aspect of customer service, and I had to advance my technology knowledge. There were a series of extremely long night but I was determined and my determination kept me moving forward. My determination and hard work is how I was able to tackle every single challenge Iface. One lesson that I learned and that I will never forget is that nothing comes easy, you have to work hard at everything you do in order to be the best at what you are doing. I want the world to that my brand will be around for a long time, Stamped By Shon will become a household name, my story is just getting started.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am a big shopper and food person. The first place I would take my friends is Marietta Diner then do some shopping at Lennox Mall, hit papadeaux for more food, I love the Atlanta botaical garden the relax and literally smell the roses.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like shout out my kids who motivated me to start my business and, who will keep my legacy going. I want to shout out every person that has ever bought something, or shared a post, or referred someone to me. And last but not least my husband, who has gone above and beyond to make sure I’m always supported, focused, and motivated. Thank you so much for being my rock, I love you Mr. J
