We had the good fortune of connecting with Keisha V. Stubbs and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Keisha V., we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
There have been numerous times in my life that I’ve decided to take a risk. Fortunately, they’ve all worked out. Risk, to me, is taking a chance on something and doing all you can for it to work out. One such risk is my entry into the automotive sales industry. I was offered a temporary job selling cars 900 miles away from my home. I was sold the idea that I would be trained so well that upon my return to Georgia I’d be able to get hired at any dealership I wanted. So, I drove my 1995 Nissan Maxima (equipped with 3ook miles) all the way to New York and embarked on the journey of automotive sales. My very first month, I outsold all of the other salespeople and earned the coveted title of salesperson of the month!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Today, I offer sales consultation to businesses and sales training to individuals and businesses through my company Ezekiel Inc. I’ve been in the sales industry for a decade now and have earned awards, titles and have sold products and services to the tune of 8 figures. Initially, it wasn’t easy. Nothing is easy when you’re first learning, but through trial and error I’ve learned how to hone my craft and deliver top-notch results for my clients. The number one lesson I’ve earned over the years is that the client comes first! You must be a servant leader in this industry if you expect to sustain and grow. That is how I’d like the world to see my and my brand. I am here to serve and to help you grow!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh boy! I may be a little boring in that area. Since my industry is centered around people, I typically attend things that are low-key. I love the botanical gardens in Atlanta. There is always something beautiful to see there. I’d definitely stop by High Museum as well! There was a black history exhibit a few months ago that was very informative and well thought-out. I love to eat as well, so for something to go, I’d got to Just Dogs and Patunia’s food truck, both in McDonough. There’s an awesome trail to walk at High Falls in Jackson, Georgia. Very scenic and worth the trip. Oh! And we’d definitely have to go on the ferris wheel in Atlanta too! You could walk around the city for hours eating great food and taking in all the sites, and I’d definitely recommend ending the day with a ride on the ferris wheel!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Lorna Savage, my mother, has been the single most inspirational person in my life. She harnessed her calling as an educator at an early age and has been propelling children through their school career ever since. The way she specially crafts her lessons to fit each child’s way of learning is nothing short of amazing. Parents rave over her tutoring business, Academy of Stars, and highly recommend her to family and friends.
