We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jasmine, why did you pursue a creative career?
Art allows me to express myself. As a child I always latched on to art class in school, drawing and just creating things. In high school I knew I wanted to start my own business but I struggled finding the right path. Once I dug deeper into myself, I realized it was in my face all along. I followed my passion and now we’re here today!
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets my business apart from others is I only do artwork that I enjoy. I don’t follow trends and I like to create things that you can’t buy in a store. When I first started I made several mistakes and I still make them to this day. However, learning from my experiences is what helped me develop professionally. I listen to my clients feedback and implement it into the decisions I make for my brand. Every year I make sure to innovate new ideas and sometimes that becomes a challenge. There are several things that people inquire about but only certain things make my website. The key to greatness is creating your own wave and having originality behind your work. With that in mind, my creative process allows me to bring things to life I never thought I could.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m from a small city, Albany Georgia but we definitely know how to have a good time. My favorite restaurants are San Jose’s and Cheddars. But if you’re looking for a good turn up, Icons or the Sandtrap 5.0 is the place to be!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to dedicate my success to God and my mother. God for blessing me with this gift and my mother for constantly pushing me to better my brand.
