We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jasmine, what matters most to you?
I value offering a customer-centric experience at the forefront of all my interactions with my clients. It is so important to me that I build a rapport with both current and potential clients. The client-stylist relationship is only sustainable if there is trust. So, it is important to me that my client believes in my skills. Likewise, they must also trust that I can execute their vision. Whenever I am proposing to release a new product or service my first step is to always survey my audience whether it’s via social media or a mailing list. It helps me to better assess their wants and needs and ensures that my product/service meets those needs.
What should our readers know about your business?
MisJaded is a Personal Styling and consulting firm. I specialize in providing digital styling experiences that meet the needs of my clients all over the country. I am most proud of the impact that I can make with my clients and all the learning experiences I have procured. Furthermore, I offer tools, digital downloads, and social media content to assist personal stylists with improving their business workflows to grow their business..
Professional development is a big proponent to my success. Over the past year, I have invested in myself by attending workshops that educate small business owners with finance, marketing, and consumer outreach.. Most importantly, I have been more intentional about my collaborative and networking efforts. Working with other stylists, photographers, videographers, and small business owners has afforded me both personal and professional development.
The journey has not been easy but it has been absolutely worth it. My faith and perseverance has helped me overcome many challenges I have faced. Moreover, learning not to take those challenges so personally has been the best stepping stone toward growth. The best lesson I have learned along the way is to be comfortable with being uncomfortable.
I would want the world to know that my story is not my own. All my experiences, challenges, and successes are due impart of God grace. Entrepreneurship for me is more than just a passion, it is my calling. My calling is to use my gifts and talents to solve the needs of others. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate this Shoutout to my family! My family has always encouraged me pursue my dreams fervently and with vision. They have believed in my vision of entrepreneurship since childhood and I couldn’t be more grateful. There’s a comfort as an entrepreneur in knowing that there’s a tribe supporting you.
