Hi Marcus, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
What makes me happy? Honestly, it’s experiencing life with close friends and family. In todays modern world we are always striving to move the needle forward in life financially and professionally but we often fail to experience life fully. I believe it’s more important to pause, be present, and enjoy life with your friends and loved ones because no amount of money, fame, or success can replace sharing moments with them.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
So I post food content on social media with a focus on teaching the audience simple techniques that make big impacts on their cooking! My content stands out because I really emphasis being a homecook and not a chef. Often times people feel intimidated by the kitchen and my goal is to demistify the kitchen and make it feel approachable to everyone! It’s been a fun journey from my days as a professonial photographer but the transistion has been more than worth it. I always posted my cooking on my Instagram stories but never made full fledged reels. Making the switch was easy from a visual perspective given my extensive experience as a photographer but that hardest thing was just getting comfortable infront of the camera and letting my personality shine! I want everyone to feel like they can make some magic in the kitchen, whether it’s a simple pot roast or an intricate dish, have fun, enjoy the kitchen, learn what you like to eat, and enjoy!! Express yourself through food

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Man! If you’re coming to the Atlanta the first place we are headed in The Beltline, more specifically Krog Street Market! Freds Meat & Bread is a Michelin Star rated burger and philly cheese steak restaurant. Amazing burgers and a korean cheese steak that is do die for. After that, we gotta hit The James Room, it’s a speak eazy themed craft cocktail bar with amazing live music. If you’re in Atlanta and need to find a move you can always hit The Beltline, Ponce City Market, Piedmont Park, Colony Square, and The High Art Musuem.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I wouldn’t be where I am in life if it wasn’t for God, everything starts with him. He has blessed me with an incredibly insightly mother & father and incredible siblings. Being the baby of the family I always recieve the comment of ” oh you’re the spoiled one!” how funny!! On a serious note, since I’m the baby of the family I get to learn life lessons from my parents and my older siblings!!! What a blessing that is right?!? I’m also grateful for the amazing group of men in my bible study group like Joseph Dunham and Kojo Banahene. They have helped me make huge strides in my spiritual walk, self discovery, and career success.
