We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Hardy and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brittany, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
“We will things into fruition”
I like this quote because it is something I have always said. Throughout my life, I have found it to be 100 true. I can accomplish whatever it is that I want in life. Many of us possess the ability to achieve greatness.
What should our readers know about your business?
The Hardy Clinic was founded in 2018. We are a counseling practice that provides psychotherapy to individuals, families, and couples. We specialize in premarital counseling, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and work with various populations. I personally have experience and have overcome some mental health struggles myself, so I know first-hand the dedication and the need for mental health services in the community.
I have heard from a colleague and medium told me that “Anxiety and depression occur when we do not live in our purpose and when we fight against what we are meant to do or be who we are supposed to be, causes ourselves to be confused.” Through my life experience, I am learning to trust my intuition and practice patience. By doing this, my business has grown substantially and has continued to thrive. I want the world to know that it does take a village, but the village needs a leader who knows when and how to lead. Emotional intelligence is a key factor in leadership growth. This is just the beginning for The Hardy brand.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
One of my favorite places to go in Atlanta is Ponce City Market in Midtown. I would take the friend to Bar Vegan for drinks and delicious food. We would definitely get some shopping done from the various boutiques within the market. Depending on the time of the day, maybe take a walk on the beltline or pull up to any rooftop deck for more drinks and nightlife fun. Atlanta is a fun city with great people and energy so you never know who you may run into or meet.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to recognize the efforts of the entire Hardy Clinic Team for their dedication to the field and passion for the community. The growth of this company would not have been possible without their hard work. I would also like to thank my mentor Dr. Tequila Hill, LMFT, Janza Macklin Brown, Fayeanne Borja, LPC and Jamie Haynes, LPC. I have so many other amazing humans who continuously support me daily. I am forever grateful.
