We had the good fortune of connecting with Bayly Silverman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bayly, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of my company, is always striving to do better, adapt and grow. When we make a mistake as a team or a situation arises that didn’t go how we would have liked, I always try to look at the situation and see where we could have done things differently. Whether that is adjusting something in our contract/policies, having better communication or a better process, we always must look for ways to change to make our company better. After almost 10 years of owning this business, I can say we are still adapting and changing all the time to improve the experience for our clients!
What should our readers know about your business?
Your Happy Nest has been helping families in Atlanta find qualified nannies, babysitters, household managers, and newborn care specialists for almost 10 years. The path to where we are now has not always been easy. There is a lot of work and time that goes into finding quality childcare, and any parent who has searched for a nanny understands that! Taking care of children is not a job that should be handed over to just anyone, and we don’t take that responsibility lightly. We just try to always work from our core values which are honesty, commitment and integrity and work from a place of doing what is best for the children and their safety.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Atlanta is such a fun city with so much to offer, especially for families! One of my favorite things to do are walk or bike the beltline and end up at Ponce City Market for a meal and some shopping. The rooftop at Ponce City Market is always fun as well, with or without kids! Some of my family’s favorite spots are The Fernbank Museum (we love the outside area there), Botanical Gardens and the Georgia Aquarium. We also love attending Braves games and walking around Truist Park.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to make a shoutout to my amazing team! Some of them have been with me since the beginning of starting this journey as an entrepreneur and my business wouldn’t be what it is without their hard work and dedication.
