We had the good fortune of connecting with Willie and Kesia Arnold and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Willie and Kesia, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
As Real Estate Agents, we are always “on”. Meaning, there is a lot of work that is put into education, marketing, and customer service. In addition, there is also a level of availability that we have to our clients. When a client calls, we have to be readily available or have a system or team in place to respond to our client needs.

Early on in our career, we took calls day or night, weekdays and weekends. It really did not matter. This is typical for most individuals starting off in the real estate business. But, we learned very quickly that we have to set expectations for not only our clients, but also ourselves.

Work Life Balance is extremely important. We are intentional about how our days are spent. We all have 24 hours in a day. The question is, how do we use it? #1 priority for us is our health. We can have all the money in the world but it is useless if our health is failing. #2 is family. We ensure we make time to see about family and friends. There is no better feeling than to create beautiful memories with those you love. #3 is work. We definitely put the work in but not at the expense of #1 and #2.

This pandemic has also put things in perspective. Many of us have lost love ones for various reasons. Over the past 3 years, Kesia and I have lost 3 parents. If that is not a reality check, I am not sure what is. Enjoy life to the fullest and live each day as if it’s your last, because it just may be.

Work Life Balance is not an option for us but a necessity. Physicial, Spiritual, and Mental Wellness are key ingredients for a healthy and vibrant life. We are looking forward to what else God has in store for Kee and Will! #Thankful

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We are licensed Real Estate agents in the state of Georgia. Simply put, our goal is to make the buying and selling of real estate as cost effective as possible while maintaining the highest level of service.

What makes our team unique is that we truly care about the outcomes for our clients, so much that we intentionally automatically call them family on the way in! Before we were agents ourselves, we experienced going through the home buying process not really knowing what was happening along the way. Now that we have the opportunity, we are intentional about educating our clients about each step of the process. We encourage our clients to ask questions and be clear about the real estate transaction they are embarking on.

Our goal is not to just sell you a house. Anyone can do that. Our goal is educate our clients on the value of real estate and to understand its ability to create generational wealth. Too many have gone before us that did not understand wealth. It’s a new day family! As long as we are blessed to do it, we will continue to help build wealth for our clients one family at a time! #GenerationalWealth

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Favorite spots in the city include Poor Calvins’ Restaurant, The Battery, Ray’s on the River restaurant, South City Kitchen, Kennesaw State Park

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would like to give a huge shout out to our parents (Willie Arnold Sr, Fannie Arnold, Lester Mitchell, and Essie Mitchell) and immediate family. These individuals were and are extremely strong. They instilled discipline, faith, and a work ethic in us that allowed us to grow into the people we are today.

That foundation is so important. Many of us tend to forget about our younger days and those individuals that took care of us. They Our Family made sure to instill those core principles that created character and a sense of humility.

Of course, there are many others along the way that guided us to make the right decisions or allowed us to learn from our mistakes. We thank all of you who continue to pour into our lives. One of our taglines is “Helping one family at a time”. God has blessed us with this unique ability to bless others through Real Estate. We do not take that gift for granted. #Blessed
