We had the good fortune of connecting with Tonia Ladyt Wilson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tonia Ladyt, what role has risk played in your life or career?
How taking a risk played in my career/life. I can say that I have always been a daredevil the reason for because I was always told that I couldn’t do this or I couldn’t do that. If I did it had to be planned or wait until it was the right time. I never believed that. I believe take that risk at that moment or lose your chance. You only get one chance in life and at that time you gotta go for it. Life is too short to sit around and wait.

What should our readers know about your business?
Tonia Ladyt Wilson born in Queens New York now resides in Atlanta. I started Acting about 10 years ago as well as starting Sassy But Classy LLC. To tell you the truth I didn’t have a clue what I was doing with either. For the acting part. I went out to audition just for fun I won’t lie I didn’t get the part but I was given a very small roll two weeks after. When I saw what acting was really like I loved it. I started paying attention and I said yeah I think I wanna try this out. As I gotten further into acting it gave me life. It allows me to Interact with different talent. You get to portray different characters at the same time  that you’re portraying the different characters you actually get healing for yourself and those that are watching  you could help heal them. As for Sassy But Classy I wanted to build a platform for designers and models of all ages and nationality a place to display their talent. I love to see the smiles on their faces of  excitement. How Acting & Sassy But Classy connects is it’s giving me a chance to stay alive to keep going for not only me but for my other two children that are living and my grandchildren and to leave a legacy for them. It definitely isn’t an easy job, it is a lot of hard work you have to stay focus and stay on top. What I mean by staying on top is take the acting classes, stay positive, surround yourself with positive people. Promote yourself. The lessons that I learned on the way is that you don’t let everyone eat at your table. What makes me different and stand out is that with all the trials and tribulation that I went through I still got up. I am so honored to say that with the hard work that I’ve done I was nominated and winner of ATL’s Hottest Actress 2021 & ATL’s Hottest entrepreneur 2021. I may bend, but I will not break. I want the world to know that life does happen and we don’t know how the cards are going to be played but as long as we have breath in us that we must continue to go on God has given me so much talent that I’ve been sleeping on and now it’s time for the world to see it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my girlfriend comes in town the first thing she’s gonna want to do is relax and have me cook everybody always wanted me to cook for them. Will chill for the rest of the night and watch some Netflix movies. My girlfriends are old school like me we don’t like going to the clubs. We would definitely have to go get our feet and nails done at GA Nails & Spa they treat you so well and serve you wine while you’re getting pampered. We definitely have to hit up Pappadeaux‘s they have the best fried alligator and seafood platter this seafood platter is so big that it’s enough for two people. Lips Drag Queen Atlanta is a must. Entertainment, food and drinks under one roof is 100 plus. Shopping we’re bargain shopper‘s so Burlington, It’s Fashion, The Pandora store, Macy’s. After all that shopping making us tired we have to get lunch at ATL wings I’m ordering melt with lemon pepper sprinkles can I have the peach drink blue cheese dressing. Atlanta Fish market it will be our upscale restaurant. Now I do you have to mention before we go out we have to get our faces beat that’s when I call my make up artist Christian “Diamond” Mylan he will get you right. My best friend and I are alike. We would rather spend quality time at house cooking, catching up and chilling at the house.
