We had the good fortune of connecting with Toni Bornia and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Toni, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned from my business is that success can not be given. It must be earned through hard work, determination and motivation. I also learned that all successful businesses started from a struggle that was created from a thought, a need or a dream and those whom found success never gave up.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’m Toni and owner of Eyes Of A Majesty Cosmetics. I started my line of cosmetics to cater to women of color whom love makeup but have trouble finding the right items that caters to their skin tones or skin types. As a solution I began to make cosmetics that were vegan, and contains natural and organic ingredients. We pride ourselves on giving the customer great customer service from the time they click checkout up into the time they take their package out of the box. One thing that sets us apart is our experience you will feel once you open your package from us. Owning your own business is never easy but I realized it was for me. But I knew once I made my first sale that I couldn’t give up on myself, so I continue to keep working hard and figured out what worked for me. There will be times were you want to give up but you can’t because there are still customers whom are waiting for you to come up with a solution to their problem. If I could tell the world one thing it is your brand should represent whom you are in the inside.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my customers. Without them supporting me and my brand I wouldn’t be who I am and my brand wouldn’t be asked to be in this article. Also to my 4 son’s who also help within my brand behind the scenes with processing, packing and shipping.
