We had the good fortune of connecting with The Majestic Babe and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi The Majestic Babe, what matters most to you?
Authenticity matters to me the most. It doesn’t matter who or what you are, are you being true to that, true to you? I was taught as a child and even now still well into adulthood that if you show up genuinely, everything that comes after that is just that.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am both a creative and a 9-5’er. I’ve been working since I was 14 so I’ve always had a sense of discipline and responsibility. From that, I watched my parents give birth to their now 20 something year old business and all I could think was I’m going to be my own boss one day. I worked and quit so many jobs up until I decided in April of 2020 that I would finally take that risk and start Majestic Things. Being a business owner is no walk in the park, I mean anybody will tell you that but to watch something you’ve created start from a seed and bloom is probably the most rewarding experiences in this life. For about a year and a half I completely dedicated myself to Majestic Things, I had people tell me I wouldn’t make it, I had people try to sabotage it, and I had people who just outright didn’t understand what it was I was trying to do. What I have learned about this particular journey is that it is mine and nobody could ever walk it the way I do even of their are so many others in the same field. There is but one Majestic Babe. When people see my business or read about it, I want them to know that I grew this with my imagination, dedication and faith. With those things, I’ll be apart of changing the world of those around me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My friends and I are definitely sitting in somebody’s restaurant and getting us a plate of food and a good drink. Although I’m the friend with the low tolerance lol I still partake. I love views, nature is the most exciting ever for me. A day in the park just basking in the sun(not that 80 degree sun though) and having girl talk would be everything for me. I live in Atlanta so it’s always something going on and most times I’m always far away from it lol but I step out with the girls when they ready.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost I want to thank me and my Spiritual team. Without my will to listen and grow there would be no journey. Next I’d like to thank Sondra and Ricky(mommy & daddy) you have inspired me way more than you could ever know and for that y’all have officially skipped the nursing home list LOL. I love you deep. Next I’d like to thank all the children that are in my life, you keep me on my toes!! Everybody that knows me knows I’d rather go off with the children than hang with the adults. To my tribe, my community of go getters I love y’all for always pushing me to keep stepping into my power. My beautiful fiancé Dontavious you see first hand the UP’s and the lessons, thank you for always pulling me into the light even when I try to stay introverted so much. I love you all.
