We had the good fortune of connecting with T-Quest and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi T-Quest, the decisions we make often shape our story in profound ways. What was one of the most difficult decisions you’ve had to make?
The most difficult decision I have ever had to make was giving up my young adulthood for my aspiring career. I jumped into the real world to figure out this music industry on my own. It was hard, countless nights writing, figuring out how to promote, going to recording studios, performing and avoiding the uncomfortableness of trying to work with men who tried to push up on me to sleep with me. I barely hung out with friends and when I did, I always talked about music and business. I missed a lot of family functions because I was too busy working or doing things music related. I pretty much missed out on being a normal person. Hardest decision yes but if I didn’t make this choice I wouldn’t be who I am today.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from others is me just being me. I’m an individual that plays by my own rules, dances to my own beat, moves to my own rhythm  and embraces the fact that I’m not like anyone else. My personality and sense of humor touches people in a special way. The Quest Effect Is Real. I’m most proud of the woman and entrepreneur I’ve become. I didn’t allow all that I went through to break me. It was not easy to get to where I am today. My love, determination and passion helps me keep pushing towards my dreams. I overcame some challenges by crying, regrouping and revamping. I learned that it’s smart to take your time, do your research and be a part of things for the right reasons. I want people to know that my life has truly been a journey, I’m a rare breed and if they follow me on social media @TQuestGLM, download my T-Quest App and check out my website www.GottaLoveMeWorld.com; they would see why they “Gotta Love Me”.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Due to moving right before the Pandemic, I have yet to fully explore my new city & state. I would suggest we have some fun by picking random spots and trying them out together. Each day we will pick a new adventure and hope for the best! The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shout out everyone who has truly been in my corner, supporting me, respecting my craft and believing in all that I do. My parents, my sister (Whitney Lee, owner of Whitney’s Escapes, David Wolfe Sr & DJ ILL NINO to name a few! Also Antuan Wright, owner of Apex Coture Magazine for giving me this opportunity to be interviewed by you!
