We had the good fortune of connecting with Stacee Nino and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Stacee, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process through it all was starting a business that women of my skin complexion could relate too. Not saying that it’s a business dedicated just to women of color because I welcome all women and gender, but I did feel like it could be a business to expand the black market because its not many although we are on the rise. It’s always scary to start from scratch especially when money is involved but consistency and belief in what you do will make a business stronger.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I run a lash business that is currently being worked into being a beauty brand (coming 2021). Im also an upcoming actress, I have been in a lot of independent films and working on the big networks. I am also a model I went from runway modeling to a published model. It has many challenges in all three that makes you want to give up, but you must have tough skin when dealing with all three. I have to remind myself to stay positive, and having people in your corner and supporting helps the most for me.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There is a few people I could think of but Im going to put the spot light on my friend and mentor Brandon Holland. He has been a person that has believed in my craft from business, acting and modeling and that means a lot to me and I definitely appreciate and love him for it! He’s my Tyler Perry and he is the next big thing coming out of Atlanta!
