We had the good fortune of connecting with Sara A. Rossel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sara, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?

I have been lucky enough to travel a lot and since I moved to the USA (2015) what surprised me most is the lack of delivery service for daily routines such as shopping at the supermarket, food deliveries, supplies in general, to give an example. . . . . . . . My passion for customer service and the healthcare industry led me to found RapiFast®, a company that offers innovative and affordable medical devices and test kits, focusing on prevention and rapid results, as these are the first barrier to patient care in many situations such as: accidents on public roads, the army, locations in border areas without proximity to hospitals, ambulances, emergencies, remote travel, etc.
With the arrival of COVID-19 we were prepared and were one of the first companies in the country to offer the mobile testing and health concierge service.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Rapifast® has been founded under the premise of prevention, since we consider that prevention is the new health.

We have designed rapid results tests, medical devices and with the arrival of covid-19 we have implemented the concierge service for tests, being one of the first companies in the country to offer the mobile laboratory service.
In mid-2021, and seeing that the numbers of people infected by Covid-19 were dropping considerably, we have opened our e-commerce channels, having our own tests on Ebay as hot sales.

We have a line of uniforms and are now launching our RapiFast Care® sub-brand where we offer sanitation and disinfection services with the option of hospital grade cleaning services.

As you will see, we are changing according to the needs of our clients, always accompanying growth and seeking maximum customer service, without lowering the professionalism that characterizes us.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I had to go on a trip with one of my friends, I would definitely take them to Buenos Aires (Argentina), which is where I was born. I would walk with them through my streets, I would visit places that have accompanied me in my childhood and I would tell them the anecdotes experienced in my youth.

Sharing with my friends and the people I love the culture and customs in which I was raised certainly gives them a complete image of who I am.

What I owe myself is to go to Italy (Albindona) where my mother was born and walk the streets and give life to so many stories that she has told me and that are in my memory. Unfortunately I can no longer do it with her, but it is a pending subject that one day I want to complete with my children and honor the person who most influenced my life: Camilla, my mother.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Starting from scratch and being an adult is not easy. I was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and moved to Atlanta, GA in 2015. Although I have been a businesswoman my entire life, starting over in a country that I chose as my own, with a new market and consumer culture, is not easy and therefore Of course no one at that time knew my name or my experience.

So I started researching, educating myself, and trying to understand how to start my new company.

This is how I came to ACE Women’s Business Center where they have helped me from day one to inform myself, receive coaching and develop my first business plan.

Of course, entrepreneurship is not an easy task, we have to study, inform ourselves and always be online to be able to learn from our peers and not feel alone, since they are entrepreneurs going through the same challenges and having the same fears.

The SBA has also been a solid pillar for my career, providing me with advice, courses and online training to always be updated and attentive to new challenges.

Reading is also part of the preparation of every entrepreneur, I have many books on my list, some of them are:

-What got you here won’t get you there (Marshall Goldsmith)
-Interleadership (Dave Ramsey)
-Million Dollar Habits (Brian Tracy)
-From good to excellent (Jim Collins)
Being an entrepreneur is not easy, it requires us to continually improve ourselves, be prepared for unexpected changes, look around us, read, surround ourselves with those who help us improve ourselves, and many times we leave personal commitments to achieve our goals. You cannot believe your success because that will take you away from your purpose and from reality. We are responsible for our team, for their families and you know that it is a great
responsibility. Being an entrepreneur is wonderful and I would choose it over and over again, because with each mistake, with each learning and with each success it fills me with joy and allows me to continuously improve myself.
