We had the good fortune of connecting with Ryan & Janiah Farmer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ryan & Janiah, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
In a society that is so filled with the normalization of side pieces, sneakiness, and “cheat culture”, our marriage podcast serves as a representation that happy and healthy marriages still exist.

A man and woman stand together on a staircase with ornate woodwork and a painting in the background.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Our podcast focuses on the ins and outs of marriage. It’s literally us taking our followers along for the ride in real time as we grow into better partners for each other. Season one is streaming on all platforms already and we are currently in the middle of filming season two, which is filled with other married guest couples, and we’re really excited to share the various perspectives on how to sustain successful marriages.

We are still new in the space, so there have been a lot of lessons learned about content creation in general. For us, that is editing, making our posts engaging and posting consistently. Also, since we are just starting out, we’ve had to build everything from scratch. We’re earning every follower organically and trusting the process as we grow our audience.

We want the world to know that love and marriage isn’t always going to be a perfect and easy experience, but when you have two people that truly love one another and are willing to put in the work, it can be extremely rewarding.

Two people sit at a table with microphones, engaged in conversation, against a plain background.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The Beltine is definitely a must for an attraction that has it all — food, shops, and entertainment! One of our favorite spots to eat around that area is Two Urban Licks. The Atlanta Botanical Garden is always a good place to check out, very nice ambience. Obviously, the Sky Wheel in the city is a must do experience. We love catching a concert or game at either Truist Park, State Farm Arena, or Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, shoutout to God for planting the seed for the idea. Big shoutout to all of our friends and family who have supported us throughout our entire relationship, and to our followers for supporting us along this journey.
