Meet Rowe Jones | Hairstylist & Salon owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rowe Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rowe, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factors behind the success of my brand is, quality service and salon experience, genuine connections with my clients, and making my clients look and feel beautiful about themselves.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I truly believe hairstylists are artists! Being able to create a variety of different looks on different individuals all while considering head/ face shape, hair textures, color, is a true talent in my opinion. What makes me a unique stylist is that I am able to confidently work with all hair types and textures and not limit myself to any specific techniques, or group of people. I have been able to get to where I am today by never giving up on my dreams. I’ve realized many people struggle to find their true passion in life, I have been fortunate enough to have known from a very young age this is what I wanted to do and never lose sight or drive of it. This was no easy journey for me. With the lack of a true support system and limited resources I learned very quickly I will need to work twice as hard for what I want. I want the world to know that I have spent my entire life dedicated to living out my purpose, which is making other people feel good about themselves. A big part of feeling good is through your appearance but not solely your appearance but the confidence you have within yourself. Confidence in oneself can truly change your life. It will trump your fears, it will silence your doubts, it will open doors unimagined by simply just believing in YOU.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
You cannot beat brunch in Atlanta! We would likely start our day with an amazing brunch and endless mimosas! Georgia has beautiful wineries in north GA, so we will certainly visit Dahlonega, GA for a nice winery tour. I’ve found a recent love for hiking so we would also take a hike in Tallulah Falls, GA and enjoy a beautiful waterfall. We would end our night at  a nice lounge with great food and music!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to sincerely thank my God-mother and also the woman who helped raise me, for ALWAYS supporting me in any and every decision I’ve ever made for myself. When entering into my profession, I unfortunately did not receive the support or help I would have liked from my family and she was one of the only people to truly have my back! Lorna Palmer-Smith, I love you and I thank you for everything! Your genuine love for me will never go unnoticed and I am so blessed to have you in my life.
