We had the good fortune of connecting with R C and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi RC, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk are necessary evils in business. My entire career is a risk. There’s no college class or trade school that provides a stream line to success in any area of art. It is the moments where it doesn’t make money or sense that challenge us the most. Unwavering faith in God is what it takes.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
High Class Hustle is a conglomerate of individual contractors and business owners using a deep network to build/grow a stream line of success for disadvantaged small business owners.
I’m most proud of the growth around and in my business.
Definitely not easy at all! I’ve taken a lot of risk and lost almost everything I’ve had several times. My success is dedicated to God. I’m just too crazy to not quit and daring enough to use everything I have to succeed.
The only way to overcome challenges is to lean into the fear of the unknown. This shit is terrifying and elating in the same breath.
I’ve learned that people want to help, they just need to be inspired. I’ve also learned to remain cool under fire! Trouble is an illusion of the enemy to distract from the purpose of Gods man.
I want the world to realize that we are making our culture High Class again! No matter how difficult the mission, I’m dedicated to developing a streamline of success for disadvantaged individuals, like myself who had no professional arts experience and understands how to be beneficial while receiving the benefits of our business model.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’ve developed a network of small business and event coordinators. This is actually a part of the business as well; to point out of town guest and tourist in the direction of some of the people I am in business with. Often time I find fun in creating or developing so my idea of fun is really work. During the week I would take my guest to the studio I use to make records. I would also take them to see the trap museum, brunch at SPK on Sunday, and to the club at least one night (maybe gold room). Prior to their visit I would ask if they would like professional photos taken. If yes I’d arrange to have them shot at the botanical gardens or at HCH studios.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have to give God the honor and praise for the success of this journey. I’d also like to recognize my family, immediate and extended. Shout out to my executive team and all the creatives who’ve tirelessly help push this brand. Lastly the city of Atlanta for accepting me.
