We had the good fortune of connecting with Nikki Averett and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nikki, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My WHY was knowing that I was not functioning in my purpose. I had been working in the administrative and customer service field for over a decade. I found a real passion for being the support person. I have never been a huge fan of taking the center stage, but rather supporting those who do
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
2018 I found myself questioning the ethics of my previous employer, boss, and administrators. It was a very awkward and uncomfortable position to be in. I became seriously ill and needed time off to focus on my health. The lack of care and consideration shown, with only the nagging interest of when I would return to work was the last straw. I Quit I did not have a plan; I did not have a back-up job waiting for me. What I had was the love and support of family and my fiancé and this feeling that I was going to be fine. As my health improved, I started researching on becoming a virtual assistant. It presented me the idea of freedom. I could take all the skills I acquired and market them to other business owners. It was time to use all the support I used to build others to build myself. Thus, Virtual Greatness was created. I decided that I wanted to open more businesses and needed to tie them together with Nikki Averett Enterprise. Nikki Averett Enterprise houses three separate business. There is Virtual Greatness which is a solo operated virtual assistant company. Virtual Greatness offers Administrative support, Customer Experience (sales, service, and care) Business management. Clients have the option to build their own package based off their business unique needs. Or you can choose the prepared packages that are available. Virtual Greatness offers training for entrepreneurs aspiring to become a virtual assistant. I sell health and wellness products injunction with TLC (Total Life Changes) I will be introducing Phresh Anointing Empowerment nonprofit soon. As you can see being a servant for the people is my passion. I take pride in my skills and aim to operate in greatness. Nikki Averett Enterprise is a brand that reflects consistency, courage, consideration, and creativity.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
