We had the good fortune of connecting with Naydu and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Naydu, why did you pursue a creative career?
Very simply, if you care about something really bad, so much that it keeps you up at night, then you ought to be doing such thing whatever it is – this is my frame of mind and why I am pursuing my passion in recording and putting my music out to the world.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am an Afrobeat artist with Afrobeat sounds encompassing Afro-Highlife, Afro-pop, Afro-Fusion, Afro-Dancehall among other (Afrobeats) sounds.. My personality, my sound, my attitude, my vocals… pretty much everything about me set be apart from other artists or people in general.

I am most proud of my growth and knowledge, with just under three years in the music industry, I have been exposed to deep understanding of the music business and my sound have also grown and continues to emerge with the times much of which my 2022 project will attest to.

Dedication and focus helps one get ready for opportunity; sounds easy but it sure isn’t easy otherwise about everyone would be a Drake or Beyonce. In addition to dedication and focus, you have to dream and envision your goals as that what keeps you in the fight till a solution come through for your challenges.
A major lesson I have learned is not to hold back on your dream, if its your dream, there is a way to bring it to fruition.

The world should expect a shockwave from Naydu in 2022, dropping the hottest and hardest jamz the industry isn’t ready for!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
For park experience I would recommend Piedmont Park and the Beltline for the oudoorsy, Buckhead, Brookhaven and Midtown would easily be a one-stop shop for food, drink, hang out and nightlife. The Trap Museum, World of Coca-Cola and APEX Museum would be ideal spots of interest.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My Shoutout series shoutout goes to God Almighty, I’d say the big man up there been looking out for me, also shoutout to my close buddies who are always there to support from jumping of set for a shoot or just moving equipment around or even critiquing my project – thanks!.
