We had the good fortune of connecting with Natasha Robey and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Natasha, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I truly do believe that had I not took risks my business wouldn’t have took off as fast as it did. I quit my job went to school and looped ninety percent of my money into was what only a dream at that time, that takes courage! I knew that me taking risks and not operating in fear is what would separate me from the pack. Many people look at taking risks as more so of a gamble, I look at it as having confidence in yourself and your abilities to go after what you feel like you deserve. I always tell people, running a business is uncomfortable, so if you’re comfortable then you’re not growing and growth comes with taking risks!
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Okay! So I am the Owner and Founder of Yebor Luxe Beauty, a skincare clinic where we specialize in acne and hyperpigmentation of all ethnicities while implementing therapeutic practices. We personalize treatment plans and home care regimens so you can obtain your skin goals. I think what sets me apart from others is my quality of work and attentiveness for my clients. I want everyone who walks through the doors to know that I will do everything in my power to provide the top quality services. There is a peace that my clients have with me because they trust me to pay attention to their needs and carry out results!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First I would take them to one of my favorite restaurants STK cause everyone loves good food! Then we would head to the north side to do some shopping around the Cumberland area. I would also take them to sight see the pretty cool historical museums and houses around the city. The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to start out by first thanking God for using me and trusting me to successfully carry out this mantle. I also want to shoutout my parents Felix M. Robey and Linetter Robey for being my backbone and my rock throughout the highs and lows of life and always reminding me who I am and who’s I am! They pushed us hard growing up and I’m so thankful! Lastly my special shout out goes to my big sister Miecha Ransom. I can get emotional about this because had it not been for her voice of reason and wisdom beyond her years I wouldn’t have had the courage to make a lot of the life changing decisions that I’ve made. She has literally walked with me through every phase of life and never judged me once and for that alone I owe her the world.
