We had the good fortune of connecting with Najla Arrington and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Najla, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I plan on doing this through my number one God given gift ( the ability to make people look and feel beautiful). Since the last time I was introduced, I now have a brick and mortar beauty bar where I get to make people feel good about themselves daily! My biggest goal is to have a positive impact on the lives of as many young girls and women as I possibly can by helping them to get over self imposed limitations, dream BIGGER and crush their goals. Only then will I feel that I am a success.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I started out with KEELA Organics, my skincare brand and now I have a beauty bar called The FACE Bar where I get to help women feel confident and beautiful in their natural skin. Making people smile has always been “my thing” and I take the task personal so this is a perfect outlet for me to put an immediate smile on someone’s face while feeling great in the process. My beauty bar is minimalist, peaceful and holistic driven. This is what sets me apart.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Ha! I don’t go out much but if I had to we would do a trip up Stone Mountain, a Live Band on a Friday night at BQE, a Sunday Service at Victory Church, a Saturday night comedy at THE OAK, Sunday brunch at Ms. Icey’s, a trip to Slutty Vegan, Tassilli’s and Juiceheads ATL. and a trip to a highly overrated Phipps Plaza lol
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shout out my three children BREYANNA, AKIYA and KAIDEN for giving me the motivation to be great, I want to shout out my little sister NAILAH who is the epitome of excellence in mind and spirit and my mentor Jamie The Motivator who has pushed me past my limited thinking and helped to drive me to the course I’m on today.
