Meet Mystic Rainn | Author, Psychic Medium & Spiritual Advisor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mystic Rainn and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mystic, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
― C.G. Jung
To me, it’s a reminder that the parts of ourselves we ignore – the fears, the limiting beliefs, the habits we don’t even realize we have are running the show behind the scenes. And if we don’t call them out, we’ll keep blaming “fate” for things we actually have the power to change.
When we’re unaware of what’s driving us, we end up living on autopilot. It’s like letting an invisible force steer the wheel of your life and then wondering why you keep ending up in places you don’t want to be. But the moment you bring those hidden parts of yourself into awareness, you take back the power to change your direction.
I love this quote because it aligns perfectly with everything I teach and live by – the idea that we’re not victims of fate but creators of our reality. It’s about stepping into your power, owning your story, and realizing that your “fate” is something you get to rewrite.

Please tell us more about your art. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
I take the woo-woo and sprinkle some real talk on it, making it accessible and relatable. I understand the idea of a spiritual journey but never understood why it needed to be so serious and heavy. Life is already full of challenges, so let’s not add spiritual drama to it. My work is about empowering people to transform their lives without feeling like they’re stuck in a never-ending self-help seminar. I bring humor, honesty, and a modern twist to ancient wisdom, creating tools, books, and content that feel like they’re coming from your wise and sassy best friend.
Getting to where I am today wasn’t easy. I’ve faced imposter syndrome, self-doubt, and the constant challenge of standing out in a crowded space. There were times I felt like I was shouting into the void, wondering if my work was even making a difference. But every time I heard from someone who said working with me, my book, a livestream, or a YouTube video helped them change their life, it reminded me why I started this journey.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that authenticity is the ultimate superpower. People don’t connect with perfection; they connect with realness. I’ve learned to embrace my voice, my quirks, and my vision, even when they don’t fit the mold of what’s expected. I’ve also learned to embrace times when I don’t have the answer to something.
I want people to know that they have everything they need to create the life they dream of. I want people to know that spirituality doesn’t have to be intimidating or overly serious—it can be joyful, transformative, and yes, even a little fun.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting, we’d dive headfirst into Atlanta’s mystical side with a week full of spiritual classes, workshops, and shopping. We’d start by visiting The Inner Space, a metaphysical gem offering, tarot decks, and spiritual books, where we could also join a workshop on psychic development or astrology. From there, we’d explore Crystal Blue, a crystal haven.
We’d hit up Little Five Points, where we’d find unique mystical treasures and vintage shops and to round out the experience, we’d attend a candle-making class or a DIY potion workshop to create magical keepsakes and tools.
Evenings would be all about enjoying Atlanta’s incredible food scene by heading down Buford’s Highway, where there are some great Asian eats, and stop at Cow Wow Korean BBQ.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My shoutout goes to the mentors, authors, and spiritual teachers who have guided me from afar through their wisdom and work, as well as the collective energy of the spiritual community—those who share their light, their lessons, and their truths. Whether it’s a book, a podcast, or even a stranger’s words that resonated with me at the right moment, those sparks of guidance have been my greatest teachers.
