We had the good fortune of connecting with Moe & Ambre Adams and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Moe & Ambre, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
That what we do is an art form before it is a business. When a client pays us for our service they are paying us for our art. Art takes time to develop and create. Most outsiders may not be aware of the time and creative processes that go into producing the art that they seek.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We are most excited about the process of evolving more into the artists we would like to be, because it is a journey. We got to where we are by choosing to create regardless of the support or knowledge that we had or didn’t have. The biggest lesson that we’ve learned along the way is that there will always be lessons to learn along the way. Enjoy the process and create your own lane. We’d like the world to know that we are creatives and our brand is just a reflection of that.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We actually are figuring out these places for ourselves. We are a bit introverted and the pandemic made us even more so, so one of our goals for 2022 is to get out more and see what our city and surrounding areas really have to offer. Some of our go to places at the moment include our favorite food spots Another Broken Egg Cafe, Bean Me Up Scottie, and Jurline’s Soul Food Cafe.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The everyday creatives like ourselves that continue to create regardless of the recognition that they do or don’t receive. The People who create for the love of creating.
