We had the good fortune of connecting with Laquan Taylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Laquan, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I knew that I wanted to share the type of therapy that I received with individuals who may not have access to the type of therapy that changed my life.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

Neurofit360 ATL provides neurological rehabilitation that pushes the boundaries of traditional rehabilitation and injury recovery settings by implementing the principles of Neuroplasticity, including high intensity, frequency, and repetition in everyday practice. What separates us from others is the fact that we focus on high intensity physical therapy.

I am most proud of my team. They are amazing! I’m also excited that I am afforded the opportunity to help others.

To get to where we are today, there was a lot of struggle, reading, and prayer. It was and continues to be one of the most stressful things that I have ever undertaken, but also rewarding.

Some of the lessons I had to learn or realize was that most businesses don’t do well initially, but you have to stay with it and be intentional about what steps you take. From phone calls to office visits, everything has to be intentional!

What I would like the world to know about my story is that I never gave up. What I would like the world to know about the brand is that we want to see everyone with a better quality of life, to bridge the gap in care for the neuro population, and assist with whatever our client may need pertaining to physical therapy.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

If I had a friend visiting, we would definitely go to the Battery to eat and drink. I would also take my friend to Your 3rd Spot. It’s a very fun, adult friendly, indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant. We would also visit the Georgia Aquarium or Coca-Cola Factory and eat at Busy Bees – Downtown Atlanta. On Sunday morning, we would probably go to Breakfast at Barney’s and for dinner on Sunday we would go to eat sushi.

Other interesting places to check out would be Piedmont Park, the Balloon Museum, and Centennial Park.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
