We had the good fortune of connecting with Jazmine McFarlane and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jazmine, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor is our commitment to intentional service. At Jazzy Lady Events, we believe every gathering is an opportunity to reflect values, honor a mission, and celebrate. Whether it is a corporate experience or a sacred wedding covenant, we don’t just ‘decorate’ a room, we curate a feeling of warmth and excellence. Success for us means that every guest leaves feeling seen, cared for, and inspired by the vision we’ve brought to life.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Jazzy Lady Events is built on the belief that every gathering and milestone is an opportunity to honor, serve, and celebrate. What sets us apart is that we don’t just “decorate” or “plan”; we provide intentional structure, calm leadership and attentive service. We specialize in elevated experiences where excellence and heart meet. I am most proud of how we make guests feel seen, cared for, and inspired. Whether it’s a high-level executive summit or a sacred wedding covenant, we ensure the environment reflects the gravity and joy of the occasion.
My journey to where I am today was a path of refinement. It was not always easy; the greatest challenge was moving from the “doing” to the “leading.” I had to learn that true excellence requires saying “no” to the ordinary so I could say “yes” with intention and purpose. I overcame these hurdles by leaning into my faith and treating my business as a mission. I learned that celebrations are not just about the day itself, but about the relationships and promises they represent.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that clarity is a gift you give your clients by owning the details, I allow them to be fully present for their most meaningful moments. I want the world to know that the Jazzy Lady brand is rooted in truth and designed to last. We are building something sacred, and we pour that same spirit of excellence into every corner of the room.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would show them the side of Atlanta that makes it a world-class destination. We would visit the landmarks that define our city’s history and the local businesses that lead our hospitality industry today. And since food and shopping make a place great to me, I’d take them to High Noon or T’s Brunch bar for breakfast/brunch. And Del Bar or Alma Cocina for dinner. We would go to Black Wallstreet, Auburn Ave, and Lenox for shopping. These are a few spots that represent Atlanta’s heart for service and excellence, places that show why I love pouring into the city that has poured so much into me. We’d focus on the creative energy and the relationships that make this community feel both grand and welcoming.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a Huge shout out to my Husband (Malcolm), children, and extended family. They are the anchor that keeps me grounded, I could never give as much as I do without their sacrifices and support, I love you all dearly. I am also deeply grateful for the couples and organizations who trust us to manage their most meaningful milestones. My work is a mission, and I’m honored to work alongside vendors and creators who believe, as I do, that celebrations should be grand, purposeful, and joyful. Also, the Atlanta business community and the professional partners who lead our city with such vision.
