We had the good fortune of connecting with Jas Rosales and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jas, what role has risk played in your life or career?
This is a great question because my philosophy in the way I scale my business is fueled by the elements of fear, risk and faith. These are key ingredients for me! Everything I do in some form or shape embody these three things. Without it, my passion cannot be ignited. I plan to a certain extent understanding that things may not go as planned, and I’ve become so aware that it’s exciting to see unimaginable outcomes that turn out better than initially desired. Every day is new and unpredictable with its own blessings, opportunities, and challenges. That is the beauty of being a business owner. There is never a dull moment. I am always creating and strategizing ways to be better and ahead of the game in knowledge and execution. I am a go getter and understand that I am limitless. There is absolutely no glass ceiling. It’s all about working smarter not harder.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are a bilingual business bridging the gap between the Hispanic and English speaking communities. We have an established Production, Digital Marketing and Talent Agency that allows us to not only scale small businesses but work with community organizations and be a resource in matters of Sexual Harassment in schools and workplace, Cyber Bullying, Human Trafficking, and most especially Mental Health. We bring the information in the language that is understood to communities that are under-represented. We make a difference. Doesn’t matter how small or big, we have a trailblazing mindset and we believe in being intentional about our purpose driven calling.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well an amazing day is going to the lake and kayaking. Having sandwiches and a few drinks laying out on little lake beaches. After that, grabbing a good seafood dinner by the water somewhere enjoying conversation and company. I am an adventurous free soul and most of what I have planned is on a whim. I am super spontaneous lol. My friends laugh because we always have a great time even when we are lost in the middle of no where haha. I am super simple and thank God my friends are too. Walks on the beach are always so relaxing as well.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Wow. This one is a loaded one. HUGE shoutout to God foremost, because without Him I would not be where I am today….I promised Him from the start that I will give him free reign of the business. I wasn’t “ready” to start up on my own, but I felt a pull that I just couldn’t fight anymore. He is the CEO & CFO of the business and I just work the gift.

Also, my mother and grandmother because they embedded value and worth. These women endured a lot but kept getting back up and were just so resilient, strong and courageous. They never once chose to ever give up! Their work ethic was just impeccable. They have earned my admiration & respect.

Lastly, my sisters Jessica James, Charlotte (Choo Choo) Lang and Argelis Islas. Theses women are my pillars, my confident, my therapists, my unconditional bestest of friends who continue to encourage me day in and day out. They remind me of how far God has brought me and how much more He has to do with me. They are my tribe, my safe place and my accountability partners. I wouldn’t be able to be great without them. We all need strong women around us to elevate us to this next season. We weren’t built to do it alone.
