We had the good fortune of connecting with jada. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi jada., what inspires you?
Well , I’m inspired my peers. From , my closest friends , all the down to the individuals i’ve met thus far in my journey through life not just my musical journey.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The number one thing that sets me apart from others is my sound. When you hear my music , people know it’s “jada.” I don’t sound like anyone. I’m most excited about this next phase in life i’m about to endure, this next batch of music that’s in the works is phenomenal but it’ll only keep getting better and better. It took a lot of soul searching , mental preparation to get ready for this next chapter and trust me it’s still a work in progress and it hasn’t been easy. Some challenges i’ve faced were a lot of self doubt over the course of my 10 year music journey causing me to not release as much music as I want, really just in my head about it. And then loosing a person I called my brother back in December 2022. From literally hanging out and creating music almost everyday together for long time to just loosing a person not even 24 hours have passed since we’ve seen eachother. That crushed me and i didn’t make music for 4-5 months after that. I lost that drive but i know Tray would’ve wanted me to give up. And, from there i started making music again. That loss had everybody messed up. The lessons i’ve learned along the way is stay grounded , stay aligned, and never loose sight of the vision, keep going basically, and never let out side opinions stir you wrong. I want the world to know there’s not a lot of african american females doing what i’m aspiring to do. And , I will be an artist turned mogul.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
i would eat at texas roadhouse , or sushi china cafe. Those are located on the south side of Atlanta.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes , there is a group of close nit people. I don’t want to miss anyone but they all know who they are. It’s deeper than music. From studio sessions turning into therapy session, I thank you all. All the way to the encouraging words from my best friend of 20 plus years , telling me to lock in and never give up. The people that i don’t talk to everyday but the bond never breaks. I thank you. I’m more than grateful. Also , I want to tell the people i’ve met in the past 4-5 years on my music journey that i’m more than appreciative of them always. Lastly , my immediate family that sees the vision. Thank you.
