Meet Jacquetta Braime | Cosmetologists & Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jacquetta Braime and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jacquetta, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
My business motto is “Bring Out The Bold In You”. My business help the community (soon the world) by reminding people to remain confident in who you are. Its okay to be different in a society telling you who you should be. BRING OUT THE BOLD in who you really are with no regrets.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am very excited about where I am and where I am going. The road to becoming a successful Hairstylist and an Entrepreneur was not an easy task. Although I’ve always wanted to become a Hairstylist since the age of 6, there were many challenges I had to grow through. I had to first beat the odds of growing up without any parental structure. I had to find out who I was and be proud of that. With all the challenges I had no confidence, no self-esteem, also i doubted being great.
Along the way I’ve learned that I am more than a conqueror. I can do anything I put my mind and hard work to. I gained confidence and self-esteem to do what I love. I’ve learned to be kind to myself, and to be okay with making mistakes along the way.
I want the world to know that my brand is not just a brand. My brand is a testimony, that your dreams can come true no matter where you come from. My brand encourages people to be humbled and remain on your path. No matter how fast you see the next person get to where you want to go, stick to your journey. Never give up on yourself or your gift. Your gifts will make room for you.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was to visit me, I would definitely take her to a place in Atlanta located in Ponce City Market called “Bar Vegan” The food is beyond amazing, the vibes are great and the music is awesome.
We would also would go for a Spa treatment, we love spa dates.
Definitely a concert if there was any that week, preferably if Anita Baker was a performer, Oh how we love us some Anita.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to thank everyone who has entered this success journey with me. No one in particular, every level there were people who pushed me to be greater, that deserves a little credit in my story. I ultimately thank God for bringing me this far.
