Meet Jacquelyn Clark | Model/Actress & Stylist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jacquelyn Clark and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jacquelyn, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
Experience is everything, mine shaped my life. Most of the color, the detail, of my story’s success comes from the ventures I’ve had through working as a promotional model from the age of 21, and working in film and television in Atlanta over the last 8 years. I have always known my dream of becoming a star would take me far, and with the education I’m continuing to build upon, I will make it big in broadcasting. I plan to continue acting on my ambitions of modeling and acting while getting my B.A. in Journalism. Merging both my creativity and career will allow me to have an impact on the professional world as a multi hyphenate. I will be the best boss and a role model others can look up to.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The genuine belief of dreams coming true has kept my heart pure, this is something others recognize as I do believe their is good in everyone. After entering an industry I initially knew nothing about, I put my dues in respectfully and am thankful for all the challenges I overcame, all the obstacles that made the journey worthwhile, and most of all people I got to know and love along the way because of this light I share. There is a light in us all, you must be willing to carry on and light your own flame to spread the light so others may see too. I walk with Christ, and I want people who know me to know God.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Don’t tell me its lame to go where the photo opp is? All I’m saying is there no good view I wont turn down, and if I can get an amazing picture to capture the memory, even better! I love to show off my bestie and treat her to a good time, our itinerary is always jam packed with every minute being part of an adventure. Our go-to stops include The Funky Brunch to start off any day in a colorful way, and surely we’ll take a trip over to the island and get some pizza for lunch at Pizza on Wheels to take to the beach. After a michelada from ChamoTaco on the island were on our way back to SAV for dinner on the bay over at The Wild. Pro Tip: The perfect time to go is right when those lights turn on, that’s when you know you’ve hit the sweet spot-that is until you have a midnight craving for-yeah you guessed it, CHOCOLATE! This is the time of night where you’ll find me and my bestie at a candle lit table in a dark room at Better Than Sex; just make the reservation trust me you will be back for more.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shoutout to my mom, Valerie Clark, a hard working beautiful woman with a special heart. She has always been my number one fan and biggest support system along with my dad Brian, and brother Ben. My whole life they have always attended all the musicals, dance recitals, with flowers in hand and deal with the down to earth diva that I am and loved for. I would also like to thank Haley Spencer for all her support over the years as a fellow actress and theater major currently ‘killing it’ at SCAD. It’s important to have people in your life that believe in you and show it with their presence. I’ll always show out for the ones who show up, so if that’s you or has EVER been you… thank you for being apart of my story.

To my partner Jonathan, together we’ve raised an amazing little girl who has kept me together for the last three years in all the hustle of this busy path. You’ve both reminded me to not take anything for granted and appreciate the time and the connections I’m able to make because of the sacrifices you make for me. Thank you for being the best father and helping me go the distance, I love you. Malibu, it’s all for you Barbie Girl, I’m living proof you can be anything.
