We had the good fortune of connecting with Iroko Azikiwe Anyogu and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Iroko, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor is CONSISTENCY! I look at life as if it was an Oak tree. The first time you go and try to hack the tree down it would seem as though you are getting nowhere BUT as you stay consistent and continue to hack at the mighty Oak Tree, one day YES ONE DAY the tree will fall and your dreams will be accomplished!
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As an artist one of the greatest gifts that you can give to the world is motivation and influence. Everyday I wake up, I think of the millions of kids that lack the motivation and confidence to go out and just be themselves and chase their dreams. I am here to show, not only the generations after me, but the world that the sky is the limit and ANYTHING that you put your mind, time, and effort into is beyond achievable! The rode will not be an easy one but the bumps and pots holes that you run into on the way just makes process that much better.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The Painted Pin would have to be one of the most underrated places to visit. From the amazing live music to all games that could be played, the Painted Pin is definitely a go to!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The people that help me to strive to be the best that I can be day in and day out are all of Mi Bredren and Family! Without them pushing me to be my best self I probably would have quit a long time ago! Just to name a few… -Tyliver -Don Swann -K Hendrik – Mr. Wells – Nae Nae -Chiynah Town -Caesar’s Palace
