We had the good fortune of connecting with Ethan Cornick and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ethan, how do you think about risk?
I watch my parents businesses all started by taking a risk.. So, taking risk is not hard for me to do. I took the biggest risk of my 9 yr old life by taking portion of my inheritance to buy mask, school supplies and books during the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Since, I’m only 9 yrs old and the beginning of me learning how to create and run my own programs. Is it hard yes it is you to be able to tell your story to stakeholders, the community and other organizations/ agencies. I overcome it by practicing and researching the things I would like to do. Mostly looking for business who would like to help me in my cause. The Blessing Box has a partnership with Walmart and CVS. Grow & Think reading program receive books from publishers.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

All kids want to do is have fun and eat.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My parent and my family who support any I do. Dreams with Open Arms for the opportunity to be a spokesman for them and allowing me the room to create the Blessing Box and Grow & Think reading program.
