Hi Dr Tameka, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I started my business to be able to help providers get paid according to their contract. To be able to provider accurate reimbursement. I see in Georgia area that a lot of provider are being rip off when it comes to Accounts Receivable and payments for there practice.

My school I started because I notice once I moved up here that the schools aren’t teaching the students real life scenarios on medical billing they teach the very basis. They don’t prepare them for the certification they just put them thru school and send them on externship not knowing that those providers aren’t going to let them touch there billing. They finish school and have a loan that they have to pay back and still not working. So I open Grace Medical Institute to be able to provide real scenarios within the a practice to see how it really functions

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from other is because I put my heart and soul into educating my clients. My company don’t educate there clients. They just perform a job that’s it. IT wasn’t easy to get where I am today I lost a lot in 2021 and I almost gave up on myself and my company but I overcame that with God and supportive people. I learn not run your company with heart take your emotions out of it. People will take advantage of you when you have caring heart . I now I am starting over and rebranding myself and company for the better. I want you to know that I am purpose to educate others and to see them succeed in their business

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would to take to jazz clubs, out to eat. TO the winery Chatu’Elan and enjoy the view.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
During my journey I have had a couple of people that have assist and inspire me to be better. My business colleague Dr. Cortesha Cowan, A good friend that was an unofficial business mentor Tyear Wilson-Mccray, , My spritual mom Apostle Cierra Jones, My kids Jamariah, Jazmyne, Josiah , Raziyah , my mom . These people have shown me love and support in my journey
