We had the good fortune of connecting with DL WARFIELD and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi DL, what do you attribute your success to?
Never giving up and hard work. You will always have to deal with doubt internally and externally. What you believe and decide to do is ultimately what matters. Also, the discipline to commit to doing the work and giving max effort all of the time.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art continues evolving and I love to experiment. I flow back and forth between a few bodies of work but the series that I’ve created titled the AmericanFlagRemix™ is what has moved the pop culture needle the most. I can’t speak on what separates me from others because I don’t know everyone’s make up but a few things that I pride myself on are 1. versatility, 2. mental toughness, 3. quality expectations and 4. humility. I got where I am today by people seeing promise in me, great mentors, hard work, a positive mental attitude and mental toughness. It was not easy and I overcame obstacles by not giving up while setting short and long term goals and trying my best to stick to them.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
