We had the good fortune of connecting with Deliqua Isom and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Deliqua, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is to always believe in myself, be in control of my own destiny, my business entities, business interest, an my intellectual property.
What should our readers know about your business? We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges?
What sets me apart from others in the Fitness Industry is my ability to connect on a deeper level with my clients. “The process was not easy, there were plenty of days I wanted to throw in the towel, I had many of motivational conversations with myself and I still do, reminding myself the power of prayer and always remaining focus on the strength of beating the odds, the challenges, and the designed adversity. The end result, I have learned to trust myself and always follow the energy and the flow of God in my life. I learned to always remain true to who i am and focus on my driven purpose and destination; substracting the waisted value of dwelling on past mistakes or failures.
My brand is a Flawless Fitness Spa .. a brand that is about helping other’s Heal, the power in the the process of “Rebuilding”, and the gift of Empowering others to be their best selves and to understand that there are limitless possibilities waiting on all of us; by tapping into our driven purpose of life. My solution is simply to create a healthy existence which without doubt removes the existence of labels and descriptions created by Society, which will manifest the gift of one’s driven purpose of Life.
In conclusion, my biggest strength and contribution is providing physical, mental, and spiritual spaces and workout programs.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Whew chile let me see… I’m definitely a homebody when I’m in the city. I enjoy brunch at the South side Kitchen , Bantam and Biddy; low key chill spots. I definitely enjoy a great Cigar lounge, if I had to pick a spot , I would have to choose the Cigar City, which possess great food, music and a chill vibe on a Sunday Fun Day. One of my biggest secret is “people watching”.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My children and their support and love!
