We had the good fortune of connecting with Chelsea Goolsby and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chelsea, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business, is that I had to become my own boss. I had big visions and I knew I had to leave from working for other people behind to accomplish my goals. Oh, trust me it wasn’t easy but I knew my dreams were so big that I had to start from somewhere. I started to think about generational wealth with starting my business and I knew it was bigger than me. And to become financial free!! One big thing, I thought about was supply and demand what the economy needed. Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
One of my businesses: ChelsAllure Artistry a Eyebrow Expert and Brow Educator. I specialize and brow waxing and tinting. I also educate upcoming brow artists on how to become an expert at applying brow applications. My mission is to enhance beauty and improving your self confidence. Being in the beauty industry, I had to know it is a billion dollar industry and I had to think much like it by expanding my brand with becoming an educator and teaching my skills. Providing services can be a little challenging because of everyone has different expectations but if you stay confident in your brand and have the most positive customer service skills, it can be better. Bottles and Beats “Where the young professional meets” connecting black entrepreneurs and business owners together to social network and educate them in all aspects. Working with over 300 people and meeting so many, has inspired me to do better.Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Because of quarantine let me be a little of creative lol. One of my girlfriends come to Atlanta, we are going to a nice restaurant with good food, music, and nice view. Lets think about it, summer time, night out. We dress very classy, picture ready. Hmm rooftop vibes, we see the entire city, Ponce city market, Hotel roof top downtown. Going to Atlanta’s pop up shop, to shop black owned businesses, meet some people. Go to a yoga class.Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes of course! Each of these individuals and groups has been a big part of story, from encouragement, mentoring, and prayers. Thank you all!!
