Meet Carl Hale Jr | Owner of GingerHale’s

We had the good fortune of connecting with Carl Hale Jr and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Carl, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
“Helping one person might not change the whole world, but it can change the world for one person” I’ve had that quote on my lock screen for YEARS! I believe you get the same energy you put out so I’m always doing my best to add value to someone’s life when ever I can.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’ve always been very optimistic. I do my best to be concious of the things I listen to on my free time. So I listen to a lot of business podcasts. I make sure I listen to music I WANT to relate versus listening to something I may have related to in the past. I listen to a lot of Russ. He’s always talking assets, business and speaking positivity into existence. That’s something that keeps me going. I know if you think positive thoughts, positive things happen. No matter what happens I know it’s for a reason so I find a positive in every situation. That’s what sets me apart from a lot of people. A lot of people say it’s not realistic. They’re correct. To them. You create your own reality.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
DC is about an hour from me so of course we’d go there! I LOVE pizza so of course we’d go to at least 3 pizza spots that week. &pizza, jumbo slice in Adam’s Morgan and matchbox! One of the things DC is known for is its brunch so we’d have to hit Ben’s next door for sure! As far as non food activities it’s so much to do! There’s a really cool ping pong bar called Spin. I love bowling so we’d go to an amf. Depending on the season we’d go to a Washington football game. Die hard redskins fan. #HTTR Would have to go to one of the speakeasys in DC as well. Those are really cool experiences. Not really club type of guy so a bar or hookah lounge would be dope for the night scene.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My friends and family! They were VERY supportive from the jump! They helped me choose new flavors for my ginger lemonade, helped come up with my business’s name GingerHale’s and helped come up with a great slogan. “Its good as Hale!”
