We had the good fortune of connecting with Antonio “Tony” Minifield and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Antonio “Tony”, what are you inspired by?
Traveling is my ultimate muse, igniting my creativity with each new destination. The world’s diverse beauty constantly fuels my imagination, proving that exposure equals expansion. Every journey shapes my fashion sense, lifestyle choices, design ideas, and photography, each inspired by the vibrant places I’ve been fortunate to explore.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Creativity is my love language. I have a deep passion for both photography and people, and I take pride in truly caring for my clients, ensuring they receive the best possible experience. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the unwavering support of my family and the incredible “friendors” who believe in me and the journey I’m on through photography and creative direction.

This journey hasn’t always been easy; there have been challenges along the way. However, each obstacle has made me stronger and wiser. I’ve learned that not every opportunity is meant for you—what is destined for you will come in God’s perfect timing. I love creating memorable experiences, and I’m sure anyone who has been with me on this journey can attest to that.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m a foodie, and Atlanta’s culinary scene is overflowing with options—too many to name! Lately, I’ve been craving Jamaican cuisine, and Negril Village has been hitting the spot. Beyond food, I’m a big fan of catching a good game, especially when the Braves are playing. The entertainment district around the stadium is always a blast and has a great, family-friendly vibe.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My life wouldn’t be where it is today without the unwavering support of my family. From a young age, my parents have been my strongest pillars, encouraging me in every extracurricular activity I pursued. My wife, an absolute joy, has been my rock since the day we met, which happened to be when I had the privilege of taking her graduation photos.

Throughout various seasons of my life, I’ve been blessed to grow under the guidance of different pastors and mentors. Currently, I am in awe of the incredible opportunities I’ve had to expand my horizons in ministry and music under the leadership of Pastor Mike Jr. His influence has truly been life-changing.

A heartfelt thank you also goes out to my Tuskegee University family. You’ve stood by me from the moment I picked up a camera, continuing to trust me to capture your weddings, families, and those you hold dear. Lastly, to my clients—thank you for trusting me with your most precious moments. I am deeply grateful to everyone who has been a part of this journey, and I look forward to the many more connections and memories that lie ahead.
