Meet Almighty Mingo | Social Influencer, Multimedia Producer, Musician, Speaker, and Author.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Almighty Mingo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Almighty, how do you think about risk?
To me, risks are like jury duty; one day we’ll be called for it. Preparation and calculation have always been my initial priority before taking my leaps of faith. After all, we all take risks, I just chose to prep before that final step.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
When it comes to art, I’m like that pocket knife with 10 attachments.
There’s a gift in each fold. There were many times growing up where I didn’t realize how advanced I was in my creative process. I play a few instruments, I have a knack for invention, and I’ve understood the key to my expressions in art were based on what I know. The more I KNEW, the more I GREW. Most of the people I know admired art; I chose to study art. I think that alone made me dive deeper into creativity.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We’re getting to the activity early! Food is always on the itinerary. I’m from Charlotte so if we’re there we’re grabbing breakfast from Sunrise Restaurant.
A classic waffle, scrambled eggs, and toast to-go. (I’ve got a thing for eating on the go)
Then we’re hitting the creative atmospheres where we can network and produce something. It’s a nice way to leave a mark on the day.
When it comes to nightlife, I’m more of a “pull up with some plates and people” kind of guy. We’re going to jam with good people, while eating good food, and rocking to good music. (classic soul/rnb/hiphop)
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to give a big shoutout to my Uncles in my family for sharing their wisdom and experiences in business, education, and knowledge of self. These were the monumental Men in my life that instilled what it is to be a Scholar, a Father, and most importantly MYSELF. The Legacy is safe with me.
Special thanks to my Mother for nurturing me and teaching me the importance of a healthy mind, body, and soul.
