We had the good fortune of connecting with Alicia Renee Beck and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alicia Renee, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
As soon as I realized I am meant to help people heal, starting my own business was never a question for me; it was a definite. It has evolved and changed since its inception, and I can only imagine it will continue to do so over the years. In the beginning, it started as a transformative and healing journey within myself—I believe many businesses probably start this way. I was a professional actress for many years and never intended to make the jump into energy healing and spiritual work. But embarking on a healing journey was a necessity for me personally.

After many years of trial and error and learning to understand my gifts, I realized that the internal work I did on myself was needed for my entire artistic community. So although I work with many types of clients, my real aim and passion are to work with other artists and creatives like myself. Being an artist or creative person can be difficult in the society we live in, yet these are the people born to lead our generation, challenge the status quo, and help us evolve as a society and culture.

To me, it’s crucial that these creative leaders can lead from a place of freedom, expansion, and deep inner knowing. Learning to trust that inner voice and getting rid of all the other junk covering it up was a big part of my own journey, and it’s rarely taught. When I realized this, I went on a mission to help others like me uncover it for themselves too.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I work with the energy, but especially that of the human body, to help people transform their lives. We are all electrical beings and when our signal or our energetic flow is disrupted it causes distress in our lives on many levels: emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual. My job is to find the blocks in that flow, determine why they’re there, and start to move the energy again. I do this with several different methods, but especially love to employ the sound of tuning forks as part of the process. Tuning forks emit specific frequencies that resonate with our body’s natural frequencies, helping to retune and recalibrate our energy field through vibrational healing. Our bodies are surrounded by a biofield that stores our physical, emotional, and psychological experiences. By interacting with this biofield, tuning forks can clear that stagnant energy, restore balance, and promote overall well-being. During this process, I also utilized my intuitive skills to help the client get a better understanding of the energy that is existing in their field. I help them to unravel the pieces of themselves that they’ve been carrying because of trauma or others’ expectation, and find who they really are underneath it all. In this way I also help them to pick out their own gifts and see where they’re headed in the future. Ultimately I believe in the wholeness of the human experience, so if someone is lacking in one area of their health it impacts their life. I help my clients to discover what that is and to realign that part of themselves.

There are several things that set me apart from other healers in my field. The first is that I believe I am truly God-led. I am now and have always been in direct communication with that divine creative source from which life flows. This is an innate connection that I believe we all have access to, but many are not tapped into. I believe this source of inspiration allows me to see what’s going on in the energy of my clients very clearly. Another thing that sets me apart is how I work with the energy. I’m not in the business of just making you feel relaxed, telling you the future, or putting a band-aid on your pain or distress. I am here to help you HEAL. I think of myself like an energetic surgeon. We will keep working and unraveling until you are fully you: vibrant, rejuvenated, free, and truly alive. The final thing that sets me apart is that I am specially coded to work with artists and creatives. I am one: artistic, empathetic, sensitive, so I get it. I’ve lived the creative life and I understand how challenging and yet fulfilling it can be. I’m here to help other performers, artists, musicians, writers, anyone who considers themself an artist or creative person learn to thrive instead of just survive.

It was not easy getting to where I am today, but I wouldn’t change any part of the journey. Every part of my path was another layer deeper into myself. I have always been two things: creative and spiritual. I spent the first half of my life performing as a singer, dancer, musician, and actress. Eventually I went and got my degree in Musical Theatre and moved to Los Angeles where I worked as a professional actress until 2022. It wasn’t until Covid that I fully took the plunge into becoming a full-time healer. I was raised in a Christian household so I always felt a deep connection to God and spirituality through that lens, but when I left the church I realized that God is so much bigger than the box religion put him in. When I left the church was when I really found God and finally understood how to utilize my gifts as an intuitive healer. If you’re interested you can listen to more of my personal story on my podcast The Art & Soul Podcast or read about it on my Substack. When I realized that I’m not just here to be an artist, but also to help people heal, that changed everything. I was trained as a massage therapist, personal trainer, and yoga teacher, but it was energy work that I connected to most. As soon as I started working with energy I realized I had been waiting my whole life to help people this way, and I truly believe frequency medicine is the medicine of the future. I’m so honored and grateful to be a part of that.

What I have learned most throughout this process is to be authentic to myself. There have been many times in my life where I have felt like a bridge between two worlds. It’s a difficult place to be, because it’s a place where I can often be misunderstood. At first that really bothered me, but after doing a lot of personal healing, I’ve realized that as long as I know that my heart is good and and my intentions are pure, that’s all that matters. As long as I have integrity and am constantly truthful with myself, I will be ok. I won’t be everyone’s cup of tea and not everyone is ready for what I’m offering to the world. As soon as I accepted that people will only heal as much as they *really* want to, then it set me free to do the work I need to do, with the people who are ready to do it.

Most of all, I hope people know that there is a way out. There is a way out of pain, discomfort, feeling trapped, numbness, and darkness. It doesn’t mean you won’t experience hurt in this life, no one can change this reality, but there are tools to help you make it to the other side and you don’t have to do it alone or forever. If you’re looking for help with any of that, I’m here. I offer 1:1 sessions, group sessions, and also have a membership where you get access to new healing tools and resources every single week! I’d be so happy to see you involved in any way and I would be honored to be part of your healing journey.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I haven’t been in Atlanta for long, so I feel like I’m still a bit of a tourist myself! One of the reasons we chose to move here was because of all of the fun, culture, and beauty ATL has to offer. So I’m no expert yet, but I’d definitely make sure to bring my friends to Ponce City Market, the BeltLine, the Botanical Gardens, and make sure we got some food at a Deejay’s restaurant popup!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Goodness there are so many people thatI could shoutout! I really believe that I have had so many divine setups in my life and throughout my journey. Of course my family is first on the list. My husband Blair has been a steady, loving, support throughout my 14 years of knowing him, and I couldn’t have done any of this without him. My parents have always been a constant part of my foundation as well, truly believing in and supporting all of my pursuits. Over the years I have had several mentors, both creatively and spiritually. There has been a divinely timed mentor in every single season of my life and every single one of them deserves credit for my growth and success. Several of them held me and loved me through the darkest parts of my journey, and I am forever grateful. One of those couples is Chuck and Della Magnet who run a non-profit in Los Angeles called Re-Generation. I hope to repay the favor to many others throughout my lifetime.
