We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexis Perry and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alexis, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my business was to help women become more confident in themselves and to look and feel fabulous while doing so, and to ultimately process become financially free and gain time freedom.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m most proud of where I am right now, I never gave up and will never give up. My dreams and goals truly count on me and so many girls do as well. I’m most excited about where I’m heading from this moment moving forward! My journey hasn’t been easy at all but definitely worth every cry and 7 seconds of doubt that crossed my mind in my “defeated” moments. I overcame and continue overcoming things by always putting everything in God’s hands, speaking life over myself and moving forward. I’ve learned to always follow my gut feeling. I want the world to know that my brand is for every woman and that when she wears any product of mine she will feel extremely confident, herself and bold. She will be able to make that or those item(s) her favorite and it’ll carry her through many moments of her life.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Monday-Friday brunch spots around the city Breakfast at Barneys, Lilly’s just to make a few. Go to a couple of day parties, grab lunch at an Atlanta wing spot then go to dinner at Shops at Buckhead

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want dedicate this Shoutout series to a couple of powerful women. First and foremost my mother a powerhouse, force to be reckoned with business woman! Secondly, Sophia Amoruso, author of the most inspiring book ever ‘Girl Boss’. My grandmother, my digital mentors and some senior powerhouse business women that I’ve been blessed to cross paths with is who this this write up is for.
